getting out of the comfort zone
a friend suggested that in order to try something different when drawing ( I wrote a couple of weeks ago about being totally uncreative and always drawing what I always draw) I could draw "things" which not necessarily exist. so i did that and it was even kind of fun of doing them, so there might be something there.
and no I am not really following the olympic games, although watching the runners is quite ok, but why does it all in this world has to be about competing??? the fastest, the strongest, the richest, the most this, the most that. and all this research about breaking the limits of the human body in order to win. win. win. win. and look how the world is.
today I thought about ghandi, which was a figure I never gave much
thought before about it really (except for the usual) but shouldn´t it
be time we remember him a bit more? looking how in the world is all
about violence. nothing more depressing than watching the news.

Funny. how sometimes the brain craves for recognizable images: hence, I see...a crushed. bug, that almost made it (a vegetarian, hence all the spilled emerald coloured guts); a rotten acerola fruit, still hanging (...on?), and finally...the sideways look at a nice cricket!

ResponderBorrarAll I see is... "huh?" and "WTF?" I like the fact that my brain wants me to recognize patterns but for all my efforts, I can't. I can't even recognize your style. I think you are on to something hon.
