de regreso / back

(english scrolling down) Despues de 5 dias sin bloggear, aca de regreso. De pronto comenzo el verano, mas precisamente el jueves y hoy ya ha hecho alrededor de 30 °C y yo no soporto el calor. Se me hinchan los pies y las neuronas se me duermen. Suena extraño viniendo del tropico; pero no me gusta el calor; si me gusta que haya sol, que los dias sean larguisimos y casi ni anochezca y que los pajaros sigan cantando a las 9 de la noche. Estos dias sin bloggear estuvieron aqui dos amigos a quienes quiero mucho, fueron dias de recorrer la ciudad en bicicleta y perdernos entre calles desconocidas, charlas largas de balcon a la luz de velas, tomando vino y comiendo chocolate; hablando de todo y nada, sincronizados en el humor y en la complicidad. Dias alegres, donde el corazon se siente liviano y pareciera que el tiempo sin vernos ha sido como mucho un par de semanas. D y R, agradecidisima con su visita.

After 5 days of absence, I am back to posting. Summer has arrived, exactly last Thursday and today the temperature reached 30 °C, which it becomes just too much for me, funny to say that, me who comes from the tropics. But I guess I am more a winter person, when it is so hot my feet get swollen and I can barely think. I guess the only place I am happy with the heat is at the beach, but I do like sunny days and I love the almost endless summer daylight. These past days two friends were visiting. We spent 4 and a half wonderful days, biking around the city, getting lost among unknown neighborhoods, having long talks in the balcony by candlelight, wine and chocolate; talking about all and nothing, synchronized in humor and complicity. Happy days where the heart feels light and time just flows smoothly.
