Multitasking

Today I went to my internship, so the drawings posted are S-Bahn drawings. Now that in the last 2 posts I have been using color, today I kind of missed it. Today was and still is busy. Fermin woke up at 6 in the morning, so I had to take him out for his walk at that time, came back, did a bit of yoga - stretching thing, made breakfast, got my things ready for the internship, went out again with Fermin because A. couldn´t come back at noon for Fermin´s noon walk (so the idea of the second morning walk was he could hold until the afternoon - which he did). Then after the internship went to the post, then supermarket, then A. and I cooked dinner, now I have to do today´s blog and afterwards we have to make the guest´s beds because A. parents are arriving tomorrow; and after the beds I have to do some internet research for the internship (because tomorrow I´ll have no time for it) and while all this is happening a cake is being baked in the oven (which I prepared right after dinner). So that is how most of my days go by (A. helps me a lot, but this month he must do a teacher´s seminar at his work and it is full time), when is not the internship is the german class, when not yoga then swimming, always cooking, shopping for food, taking Fermin for his daily walks, blogging and yes I do spend daily some time in Farmville as well. I have to admit that I get easily addicted to the most varied easy, frivoulous forms of entertaining. For example TV, I can live without it, I do not even miss it; but when it is there, oh, oh!!! Here in Berlin we have cable but it gets only german channels and some french ones and the Simpsons and South Park in german is a no no; so I miss american tv. I am not ashamed to say it: americans are the kings of entertainment; yes, I reckon that I miss Sony and HBO above most things in the tv department. But I must also say, and this is taking a lot of honesty from my behalf, it is like a coming out, (I know this will look bad in my biography) that I found a german tv show which I sat and watched it every Monday during its whole season: Bauer sucht Frau ( Farmer wants wife). This mut have been one of the worst things I have seen on tv, a mixture of pathetic kitsch with almost surreal elements and I watched it with a mixture of embarrassment and fascination. Apparently there is a real shortage of women in the german countryside; so farmers get to know women and among them decide on one or two to spend a week on their farms, and that is what the show is about. Take the most loser you-will-never-get-a-woman- looking kind of farmers, lederhosen and all, and try to match them with city women who most of them were there just to be on tv probably. It was incredible! The stars of the shown became Josef and Narumol, a bavarian 40 something virgin farmer with a 40 something thai woman, who turned out to be a super woman because she cleaned Josef´s hause, she cooked, she learned how to drive a tractor and to milk the cows and she gave him thai massages on top of all. He spoke bavarian dialect, she spoke german - thai dialect, they really couldn´t understand each other; but it is said they will marry this summer. Needless to say I will be waiting to watch the wedding on tv.
