Ich bin der Chefgenosse für das Immerweitergehen

(English scrolling down) Ich bin gegen das Enden, gegen das Kaputtwerden!

This phrase is not too easy to translate. It is said by a boy from the novel I am reading now. He says it in regard to his grandfather´s death. He says he is against The Ends, against Things being Damaged/Shattered, he is the Chief commrade of the Ongoing and he supports the "So on and so On". Some lines before he expressed how he did not want Sundays truning into Mondays and school vacations into first days of schools. I found this phrase beautiful because it touched me in my still child feeling self and how deep inside there is the wish that good things would never end and that the loved ones never part. I guess we all have a bit of this in us. But as we grow we learn that things do end and people leave and as Hector Lavoe says "everything has its end
My friend M, in her blog Sweet Fresh Love sometimes asks her readers for input of opinions about certain things. For those reading this blog, what were/are moments/things you did not want to end? I think it would be a nice thing to make together a list of things we did not want to end. For example as a child I really never wanted Saturdays turning into Sundays and some times I still have that feeling.
