(english version scrolling down) hoy dibujos en el S Bahn.

S Bahn drawings today.
I have started two or three different phrases and themes for today´s post; but somehow each one of them sounded a bit pretentious, as if I wanted to impart my "views on life". I do not want to do that, this is not a lecturing blog, I do not like lectures and I do not like people who lecture. Then I thought about humor, how very important, I think, humor is in life; not humor as in telling jokes, but that capacity to recognize and laugh about one´s own absurdities.I do not like obnoxious solemnity. I think that when governments do not have humor they become dangerous, dictatorships are humourless. And talking about dictatorships, I just finished reading George Orwell´s Animal Farm. Somehow it is a book I should have read before and I just didn´t. It is an amazing book, it portrays so well the human condition and it is a great, and yet so easily narrated, reflection on power. And it is still so present; we only need to take a look at how the world is going.
